Make sure you take time to walk around Sapa. It is now a large town but very colorful. Walk down to the main lake which is situated at the entrance to the town. Lorraine met a fisherman who showed her how to catch fish from the lake. The town has some nice cafe's and restaurants. Our favorite is the Tulip Restaurant. They make delicious wood fired pizzas which only cost a few dollars. Sapa has lots of Internet cafes so if you need to connect to the outside world then you can do this quite easily.
