Cantho is the largest city in the Mekong Delta. With a population approaching 400,000 people it is quite laid back compared with the hussle of Ho Chi Minh City. One of the nice things to do in Cantho is to visit the city square and to watch the world go by. Women crush sugar cane by hand and produce a very sweet drink that the locals enjoy. Little stalls and people selling things make for an interesting afternoon.
