Lunch on the porch. The river is very peaceful. Dog on the bridge. Many small jetties like this can be found along the Mekong. Colorful display of flowers. The slow relaxed pace of the Mekong. Two boys off for a walk. Modern house in the Mekong. Children swimming in the river. Family on their houseboat travelling up the river. River punt waits for passengers. Drying clothes in the warm humid sun. Local commuter boat. The Mekong is a splendid place to visit. People on shore wave to us as we pass. Dredging the river is an ongoing necessity.
