One of the delightful little surprises near Hani was the Thanh Ha Pottery Village. This village is heritage listed and is absolutely charming. You arrive by boat and then wander around the village looking at pottery making and interacting with the people. It takes two people to make a pot, one to shape the pot and the other to work a treadmill with their feet to spin the wheel. The buildings on the island are fascinating and it is a photographers dream. Thanh Ha is a nice little village and well worth a visit.
