Hoi An is famous for its clothing and art. As you walk around the narrow streets you will often see people making things for sale. Lamp shades, items of clothing, things to sell in the market, paintings and embroidery are all on display. Hoi An has a number of historic houses and museums but most people come her to "shop until they drop". The prices are more completitive than Hanoi so if you see something you like here then snatch it up.
