The Hoi An markets are colorful, friendly and very aromatic in places. Don't be afraid to sample many of the delicious foods on display. There is lots of fruit, seafood and fresh produce to choose from. People in the markets are friendly and the pace is much slower than Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi. Make sure you sample some snake wine while you are in Vietnam. It is very popular with the locals. You can bargain to get a better price and it's all done with good fun and plenty of banter. The market has lots of flowers and these are very inexpensive.
