The sea sometimes be quite rough around Cat Ba so it was encouraging to see active Life Guards insisting that people swim in selected areas. Life Guards take their work very seriously and they need to be brave especially if sitting perched on a tower well off shore. The locals really enjoy the beach and everyone was having a whale of a time if you'll excuse the pun!

The music man is returning to the main beach. The tide is well and truly up. Steady young man ! Lorraine gets ready to take a dip. The kids get excited when the waves come in but Dad is at hand.
